About Dr. Scott Jackson

Dr. Scott Jackson is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports related injuries, including knee, shoulder, and ankle arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery, total joint replacement surgery, and general orthopedic surgery. He is a member of several local and national medical societies, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He has served on the Board of Directors Medical Executive Committees of Mountain View Hospital in Payson, Utah and the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo. He was also the Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Scott Jackson completed sports medicine fellowships in Lexington, Kentucky and Birmingham, Alabama. A graduate of Tulane University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, he is currently a faculty instructor at Brigham Young University. Since 1998, he has been an orthopedic consultant and team physician for both BYU and Timpview High School.
